AYM Ohio is an affiliate of Adventist Youth on a Mission. AYM Ohio was born from a special desire of the youth at the West Salem Mission to reach the Adventist young people of Ohio and provide opportunities for them to be more involved in ministry for Jesus. AYM Ohio has a special focus of reaching out to the young people of the Amish-Adventist community—former Amish who have become members of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
